Getting an accurate direction
- Hold your iPhone flat, away from metal objects, magnets, laptops and car mounts.
- If the app says the compass needs calibrating, move your phone slowly in a figure-eight a few times.
- Turn on Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → System Services → Compass Calibration.
- The app only says “Facing the Qibla” when the compass reading is reliable.
Location
The app works without an internet connection. Allow location access for the most accurate result, or pick your city by hand. Your location never leaves your device. See the Privacy Policy.
Apple Watch
Open the app once on your iPhone. Your language and chosen city are shared with the watch app automatically. Keep the watch away from strong magnets for a steady reading.
